months at entry.
Dogs must test negative for Brucella canis,
Trypanosoma evansi, Babesia gibsoni,
Dirofilaria immitis and Leishmania. The
document states that these tests are valid
for 31 days.
Certified US veterinary results must be
submitted to the Veterinary Services
Department of Ghana before the animal
boards the flight.
A valid CDC Dog Import Form receipt and
original US-issued Rabies Vaccination
Certificate are required.
A rabies titer blood test from a CDC-
approved laboratory and a border
inspection facility reservation may be
required.
The document states that puppies and
kittens must be at least four to six months
old to travel.
Required information includes Pet Name, Species, Breed, Age and Weight, ISO 15-Digit Microchip Number, Client Full Legal Name, Client
Signature and Date. The agreement must be executed at least 60 days before departure alongside the required USDA and veterinary lab
certifications.
